Our tours are designed and marketed primarily for guests 18 and older. ATV drivers must be at least 16. Participation by anyone under 18—including younger passengers—is considered case by case and requires advance approval before booking.

What should I bring?
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dusty, muddy or a little wet—the mess makes for great action photos. Bring sun protection, a small towel or biodegradable wipes, and an optional change of clothes. Keep phones and cameras secured. All required safety gear is provided.
Is safety equipment provided?
Yes. Helmets, goggles and all required safety equipment are supplied. Every rider receives a safety briefing before the trail, and the guide sets a pace appropriate for the group.
What are the age requirements?
MayaRay tours are designed primarily for guests 18 and older. ATV drivers must be at least 16. Any participant under 18, including a younger passenger, must be approved in advance on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer an automatic children’s discount.
Where does MayaRay Adventures offer free transportation?
Free pickup is available from hotels, vacation rentals and Airbnbs in Costa Mujeres, Playa Mujeres, the Isla Mujeres Continental Zone, Isla Blanca, Punta Sam and within approximately one mile of Puerto Juárez. Exact pickup details are confirmed when you book.
Can guests staying on Isla Mujeres island join the tour?
Yes. Take the ferry to Puerto Juárez and share your ferry timing with us. We will coordinate a mainland pickup that works with your tour departure.
What adventures can I book?
MayaRay currently offers the ATV Adventure, the Airboat Adventure and a combination experience featuring both. Fly-fishing is not currently offered.
Is the experience bilingual?
Yes. English and Spanish assistance is available for booking, transportation coordination and the experience.
What happens if weather affects the tour?
Safety comes first. If MayaRay cancels because conditions are unsafe, we will offer a reschedule or refund of the tour payment.
How do I secure a date?
Send an availability request below. We will confirm space, pickup logistics, the applicable dock fee and any deposit instructions directly with you.
